Simplicity rules the day for me…

There are people who believe that medical progress will save the day.  You might recall the article that we reviewed in a Daily Sprout about 4 years ago (I know, most of you weren’t around our office, and those who were did not necessarily pay attention to everything we wrote, I get it)… but if you did, you’ll remember. The article was on genetic manipulation, and the author of the article was preaching about a future where you could manipulate the genetic code of a person pre conception by altering the phenotype of an egg.  Or to reduce the heart […]

Organic Food can make you MEAN!

According to a new study, eating Organic Food can make you mean.  I wonder if it is something about reduced chemicals causing you to express your real feelings towards the lie that has been sold to you about the food quality up to this point?  Maybe its the taste.  We are so used to chemically increased flavor, MSG is not a thing of the past, and has simply been hidden as an ingredient in “flavor, artificial flavor, and even NATURAL flavor”; so perhaps this is why we get mean. Actually, THE STUDY which comes out of the Journal of Social Psychology […]

Workout Of The Week

The workout of the week is more about the when and where, than it is about the what.  I hope that made you a little concerned.  I am asking you, all of you, to do a short workout at work… during work.  And more specifically, during a time at work that you feel tired, when you really shouldn’t. So all I want is a 4 round Burst.  30 seconds on, 30 seconds off, for 4 minutes (really its like 3 1/2 minutes).  And I will let you pick the exercise.  You have ONE week to try this, don’t be shy, […]

My Shoulder… the saga continues.

I wanted to give an update on the shoulder and a better understanding of the injury.  This will probably benefit you some in the understanding of the shoulder joint, ligamentous healing time, and of course my current course. The shoulder is pretty complex, yet my injury is not.  There are two types of “dislocation” injuries of the shoulder.  A dislocation, which is the gleno-humeral joint.  This means that the humerus (arm) has somehow dislocated from the glenoid cavity.  This weakens ligaments and tears them to some extent from the significant amount of stretch.  I have never had one of these. […]

Dr. Mercola – Plea for help against GMO’s

By Dr. Mercola Mayday! Mayday! I’m pleased to announce that the Money Bomb Against Monsanto has been officially launched! Yes, it is official. Volunteers and staff from the California Right to Know Campaign are submitting nearly 1 million signed petitions from registered voters across the state of California to county officials, to place Right to Know Genetically Engineered Food Act on the Ballot for November 6. Starting May 1, and extending through May 26, a broad coalition of farmers, health groups, and organic food manufacturers, will attempt to raise one million dollars (i.e. “The Money Bomb”). Donations can be made online, via regular […]

Drugs for everyone… OTC…

Drugs at anyone’s discretion?. Not too sure if this is wise. But then, I am not too sure I am against it. As many of you know, my father was a pharmacist, and if he was the only one influencing a patients decision to take a statin drug, a lot less people would have taken them. It’s an odd question for me to even consider. Read on, what do you think? I really don’t care because in the end, people need to make their own choices. (NaturalNews) When it comes to freedom of food choice, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration […]

Shoulder Update

Dr. E – The shoulder is bad. It is unstable, much worse since adjusting everyone on the 25th, so I won’t be using the left arm, but I am going to do more single hand work and activator work, and start doing more of the adjusting again. Some of our best stories of healing have come from activator care, so if it doesn’t feel the same, who cares? Have I done that poor of a job educating you that it isn’t about how you feel, but how you function? Don’t stay away.

20 Day Challenge is right for you, and just in time for summer!

The 20 Day Nutrition Challenge… what is it?  The Challenge is simply to challenge you to take the next 20 days to identify areas of your life/diet that you could alter to improve.  Here are some examples: Reduce sugar in any form: For some it could be real sugar, for others it could be the glycemic load of the vegetables that you eat.  Do you see the dichotomy?  One person might be drinking 4 sodas a day, and it would be ridiculous for that person to start nitpicking their red peppers vs a green pepper.  But for that person who […]

Oh The Humanity…

I am human, I have human characteristics that are strong… because, I am human.  Just like everyone else.  So, let me help you understand why we all do this, this giving up for a period of time thing.  So if you have been reading along, you know that I have had a hip problem going on for over a year.  Not too serious, just on and off (all started with an injury where I was pushing to improve my hip flexibility, and I went too far). Of course, you are all aware of the mountain bike fall I had about […]
