Dr. Eric will NOT be in this afternoon!
As most of you know, this is the big EVENT for his gym this weekend. He was taking a UHAUL truck to the Suwanee Sports Complex and it broke down on the highway. There is just NO possible way that he will make it in for the afternoon hours today. Thanks for your understanding.
Healthsprout will be open for adjustment on Monday 2/18 @ 3:30pm-6:30pm!
Dr. Eric will not be here at ALL this day!
Dr. Eric will be leaving at 11am today!
HPV, tetanus vaccines causes deadly new autoimmune disease known as antiphospholipid syndrome.
Breaking News from The NaturalNews.com
(NaturalNews) One of the latest technologies being employed in the production of new vaccines involves the use of outer membrane vesicles (OMVs), a type of pathogenic bacteria that mimics the phospholipids naturally found in the human body, as customizable vaccine adjuvants. But vaccines that utilize this untested technology, which include vaccines for tetanus, human papillomavirus (HPV), and influenza, are now being linked to causing a potentially deadly autoimmune disease known as antiphospholipid syndrome (APS).
Several recent studies published in prominent medical journals have investigated the connection between APS, which belongs to a wider class of vaccine-induced health conditions known as autoimmune/inflammatory syndrome induced by adjuvants (ASIA), and vaccines, and found that OMVs are directly linked to triggering APS. Like the common vaccine adjuvant squalene, vaccine phospholipid materials, when injected into bodily tissue, can trigger an immune response that ends up causing the body to attack its own natural phospholipids.
As far as the tetanus vaccine is concerned, injections containing OMVs and recombinant (genetically-modified) DNA are being shown to cause blindness, cardiovascular disease, headaches and migraines, miscarriages, skin disorders, ulcers, necrosis, and neurological disorders. And as an increasing amount of vaccines are quietly converted to OMV-based adjuvant blends, the prevalence of APS is also expected to continue rising, as it already has been for quite some time.
“OMVs are even more precisely analogous to human tissue (than squalene), because they are not only lipids, they are phospholipids — which are precisely what the body attacks in APS,” explains Heidi Stevenson from Gaia Health about the growing prevalence of vaccine-induced APS. “Therefore, we can anticipate that there will be ever-more cases of APS as we see the approval of ever-more OMV-based vaccines, which are in the pipeline now.”
Cervarix, the HPV vaccine rival to Merck & Co.’s Gardasil, contains OMVs, as do some flu vaccines — and many more common vaccines are being reformulated with OMVs at this very moment. What this means is that we can expect an increasing number of vaccinated individuals to develop autoimmune symptoms as we move forward into the future. And such symptoms are likely to be systemic, as APS can target virtually all areas of the body.
“People with APS are suffering from phospholipid antibodies that are erroneously destroying parts of the eye, cardiovascular system, brain, nerves, skin, reproductive system — in short, any part of the body,” adds Stevenson about the horrific nature of this relatively new condition. “This self-destruction is induced by vaccine technologies.”

Some Self Observations From Winter Jam
An essay on Grace, Health, Love and Life
2/11/13 – Here after midnight, sitting up in my “work chair”, thinking about the night that has come to an end, I am feeling a little like I have been run over by a truck of emotional “stuff”. And what better to do with that kind of feeling, than write about it, and pray that we walk away with some learning.
First off, tonight is the second week of the Total Food Makeover. Life change is happening already, yet there is so much time left, you should come if you planned on making week one and failed to for some reason. So with the TFM all around me, I am in that mode of thinking about health, and diet, and from that I get a lot of thoughts when out in public about how sad the state of our Country’s health is, and how so many people need to find commitment.
The problem (search my Daily Sprout page for how eating organic makes you mean), is that it becomes easy to judge in that moment. I was heading back into Phillips Arena from the restroom, and while I was walking down the steps, I glanced at the singer of Sidewalk Prophets on stage, and immediately thought, “He needs to lose some weight”. The singer is significantly (IMHO) overweight, and though he sings great, he moved around a bit like someone who shouldn’t be moving around too much. And that saddened me in the instant.
A little later, as the talk about Grace was getting pushed in, I felt guilty for my thoughts about this man. I began to feel like I might have been judging him, which is a difficult and slippery slope. It’s easy to lose site of someone’s talent, when we identify something that WE feel, is a problem within that same person. I heard him finish out his set, with humor and great singing, and with a desire for him to reach greater health, but with nothing in the way of me enjoying his talent.
I was moved to bring this up, because we are here in the early part of the year, where many of you have had big goals for the year, ones that involve weight loss as the destination. Others have heard the story of people who have that goal. I think our greatest need, when it comes to the world of health, is to openly pursue it, with the assistance of people all around you, and to be part of that assistance to others.
It is often a quiet personal thing to pursue health, but it should be discussed more freely. Do we quietly sit and think negatively about the person who needs to lose 200#, if we see them on The Biggest Loser doing CrossFit (Bob Harper has largely moved all of his training to CrossFit methodology, they can do it… you can do it)? Because we KNOW that person is giving 100% to their struggle for health, we are in full and positive agreement with their life.
Encouragement is critical in our lives. Not in all arenas, because of course we feel comfortable with ourselves in many ways. But in the arena in life, that you struggle the most, encouragement is necessary. It might be health pursuit, it might be something to do with your family, or your job. But as my mind slipped in and out of this discussion while sitting at the concert, I realized that privacy, though very tempting, in any area of life, brings failure to our pursuits.
I want to back track for a moment. I bought tickets to this concert, those of you who know Winter Jam, probably realize that it is a “no ticket, show up at the door and pay $10” kind of concert. Buying tickets, is not available easily, and probably not the wisest way to go (now that I have done it). They were club level tickets.
We were told that the doors opened at 5pm. We arrived at 5:15pm. And there was no way in. We were turned away at the entrance for the club seats and suites, told that they were only taking the suites in that door tonight. So we walked towards the MARTA entrance, but the doors were closed, there was a huge line of people, and I couldn’t get anyone at the door (I went to the front of the line to ask where we should go) to answer my question.
Then we walked to the other side, same story, the line was three times as long (raining by the way) and I could get no response. So we went into the CNN center to wait in line. Our thought was that they were just controlling the in flow. I went to the front of this line and asked about our tickets (there was someone actually standing outside the door). They told me we had to wait, so we did, but they were letting nobody in. I went back up and asked again, this time, a little more urgent, and with a little more concern over my paid tickets not being of value. After a few radio calls, we were let in, right when we heard them announce “The doors are now closed, no more admittance will be allowed of any type”.
I struggled with peace in this time. I consider myself a very peaceful, and relaxed individual, but in this time I was not. I know I have other areas in my life that need more work, but at that moment, instead of recognizing that it would be very difficult for a concert of this size, only charging $10, to have the ability to sort out all logistics, I was just frustrated. But seriously, they are offering an opportunity for everyone to come to this concert. $10. My expectation should have changed.
Perhaps all you need to find success in life is an expectation change. Work tirelessly towards your pursuits. Share those efforts with the people around you, and be committed without concern over results. Day by day, one foot in front of the other. This is a sure way to find success.

Commitments… My Commitments are greater than…
Can you finish the sentence? If so, you have been around me for awhile I would guess. My commitments are greater than MY FEELINGS AT THIS MOMENT.
It’s not mine. But just like every great saying has a great start, it usually means it doesn’t have an end. Dr. Ben Lerner, the chiropractor who has led our group of professionals (Maximized Living), was the first person who I heard speak this phrase. But I doubt he was the first to utter it.
What does it mean? Well the obvious, is that you must deny yourself for yourself and others. The not so obvious, is that you will accomplish great things, greater things than you could ever anticipate, if you are committed. I am a commitment kind of guy, I like to have lots going on in my life, and to feel wholly committed to all of those things. I believe legacy is one thing that drives me beyond others. I want to leave a wake of change behind me, where more people are experiencing new life, than I would have ever hoped looking back 15 years.
But these kinds of commitments are easier to make than the ones that we should all start with. Personal, Health, Discipline. Making the wise choice when sitting down to eat, or when choosing to get up to go work out, or to hit snooze. Sometimes the snooze button makes sense, but not with respect to you making sure you are getting all the things done in life that you have committed to getting done in life! In those cases, add time to the front side of your night of sleep, not the back side.
My commitments are greater than my feelings in this moment. This phrase could save a marriage. It could lose 100 lbs. It could take a man from crippled to walking and beyond. It is a boundless statement that will alter your life if uttered JUST often enough. As we pull back from life, long enough to consider the monotonous life of our culture, with TV and commuting. We see the sad existence that Bruce Wilkinson (author of the Prayer of Jabez) prtrayed in his book, The Dream Giver.
In The Dream Giver, not only is the average cultural life painted in monotony, but those who choose to try to break free from it are throttled with insults and negative feedback. “Why would you want to change, we are perfectly fine doing nothing”. This is the life that you envisioned as a child? Then dump it, my commitments are greater than my feelings at this moment. Be committed, to passion and impact on this world.
So my simple conclusion, is that the use of this statement can alter every part of your life. Just start slow, and let it grow! Happy day to you and yours! Be well, Be Blessed, Dr. E

The Right Bed
On the morning of the start of Total Food Makeover, and two days before the scheduled Skin Care Party (likely to be re-scheduled), you would think I would be targeting some information about food, or chemicals being slathered on faces. But instead, here I am writing about beds… mattresses.
It might be the most common question I get regarding outside of the office healthcare expenses (yes, beds are healthcare… your spine is the most important BASIS for health, thus your bed is the most important place you spend any time). Supplements, simple – juice plus and fish oil until you are eating enough omega 3. Exercise – CrossFit, or other short bursts of high intensity exercise. Beds – not so easy.
The description of the bed that you should use is not so hard, but in practice, finding the right one just for you, a little more difficult. Now complicate things by getting married, and you are in a difficult place when it comes to finding just the right bed. The first step though, is to get away from those springs. Or if you HAVE to go with a spring mattress, make sure it is really firm. So lets get to the recommendations.
First off, think solid. You want a solid core for your mattress. These usually come with some kind of rubber based core, and often will be a little thinner than what you are used to in spring mattresses. Oh, for my kids we just use springs, we’ll change those over once they get into that 100 # range, so it might be awhile. Same can apply to you and your kids depending on how much you/they weigh.
So the solid core minimizes the amount of dipping that will happen at the hips. An example of a solid core that I do not like, is tempur pedic. They are making strides in the right direction, but they have too much give right now. Other examples of solid core mattresses, include the air chambers that come in the Sleep Number Bed as well as the new Nikken Mattresses (I sleep on a Nikken mattress that is 10 years old, and is still very solid). These air chambers, though not solid, are surrounded by a solid core, and have the ability to mimic solid. They might break down sooner than they should (I don’t know this), but at least they have good potential.
So I have tried to find the best deal in solid core beds, because usually, the nice ones are expensive (these two companies can easily charge $5,000 or more for their top beds. Worth it, but if you can find something comparable for less, you’ll probably appreciate it. One such contender, is the healthy foundations bed. With a 10†memory foam mattress (but more stable and supportive than tempur pedic), this company has a good product, and it has an incredible guarantee.
Can you imagine blindly buying a mattress online, with no idea if you will like it or not? Sounds crazy. But what if that company gave you a a 365 day warranty on their bed, and instead of costing $5,000 it was only $1700? And now they ship it to you for free? Seems too good to be true, but that is what they do at this company! HealthyFoundations.com will also make it easy to return the mattress for a $75 cost.
The reason why I am happy about this mattress over the tempur pedic mattress even though they are both memory foam. This one is hard. Actually, upon reading customer reviews, a decent number said it was too hard, to which I would say, good! You’ll get used to it, and your spine matters more. So go more firm.
I hope the information is useful for many of you, and for those who are not in the market, considering firming up the existing mattress. A couple easy steps.
1. Add a board under your mattress between it and the box springs.
2. Add a 2-4†memory foam topper to reduce the pressure points.
3. Sleep well!
I look forward to seeing all of you at food makeover tonight! Be well and supported – Dr. E
